چکیده

Manuscript received November 18, 2014; accepted November 22, 2014. Coils and Amplatzer plugs (St. Jude Medical, St. Paul, Minnesota) have been used to achieve closure in congenital fistulae (2,3); however, in the much larger diameter iatrogenic fistulae there has been 1 case described in which covered stents were used for closure (4). We describe a case of a large left anterior descending fistula to the right ventricle

Transcatheter embolisation of an enlarging acquired coronary arteriovenous fistula in a heart transplant recipient.

A 50 year old, recent cardiac transplant recipient developed systolic and diastolic murmurs but remained asymptomatic. The cause of the murmurs was not evident at transthoracic echocardiography. During routine left heart catheterisation a left anterior descending artery to right ventricular fistula was evident arising from the distal vessel and presumably acquired during routine endomyocardial ...

Multiple left anterior descending coronary artery to left ventricular fistula – A case series and literature review

Coronary artery fistulas (CAFs) are found in 0.3-0.8% of patients who undergo coronary angiography. CAFs are defined as single or multiple, small or large direct communications that arise from one or more coronary arteries and enter into one of the four cardiac chambers or major vessels. We present two cases of multiple coronary artery fistulas arising from diagonal and left anterior descending...

Traumatic Left Anterior Descending Coronary Artery-Right Ventricle Fistula: A Case Report

Traumatic coronary artery-cameral fistulas (TCAF) are rare and may present secondary to penetrating injuries (80%) or iatrogenic traumas. Early operative intervention remains the recommended treatment modality for accidental traumatic coronary artery fistulas. We report the case of a 17-year-old man who presented with left anterior descending coronary artery-right ventricle fistula following pe...

A coronary angiogram showed proximal stenosis of the left anterior descending artery and...
